Hey i just joined this site to help me with me anxiety and panic attacks. One of my major symptoms is i get really Nauseous and pains in my stomach which has led to a fear of vomitting. Its very distracting when it happens. I am currently not working so i can take time to focus on getting better. I also just moved back home and moved back in with my parents. Money is tight and i feel like a burden to my Mom and Boyfriend. I sleep all day and stay up all night. I feel worthless and lazy, but i also can't help it. I just don't care. I have many thoughts of just letting go although i no its not the answer. When i was working i used to have these really strong overwhelming feelings that i wanted to runaway and never come back, like quit my job and not tell anyone it was so distracting that i couldn't go to work anymore. Which has led me to where i am today.

Hello Nat and Welcome!  When you were describing your troublesome symptom and what panic is like for you, it reminded me so much of me in my twenties.  Your story really sounds similar to mine.  I wanted to let you know that there is hope on the other side of this and that things do get better.  I know you said that you needed to talk to somebody, so feel free and message me here on the board.  : )  Welcome again to the board.  : )

Welcome to the message board, Natalie.  I saw in another post where you mentioned that you see a psychologist.  Has that not been helpful for you?  Are you on any medications for anxiety and panic?

Yes i am on medication and i recentley just started seeing the psychologist i've had 4 sessions so far i think. I do think it is helpful. I find it helps me understand what exactly is going on when i'm havin a panic attack. I guess knowledge is power. At the moment i am working on trying to change my thinking patterns.
