Hi Everyone,

This is Amy and Richard we need volunteers to help us translate anxietypanic.com into many different languages.  By doing this we want to reach out to more people that do not speak English.  The languages we want to translate to are:

1. Spanish
2. Chinese Mandarin
3. Russian
4. Arabic
5. Hindi and other languages from India
6. and any other suggestions for languages.

It is so important to us to reach the entire world to help people with this disorder.  Everyone here knows what it is like to live with anxiety/panic everyday and by doing this we can give comfort to those who otherwise may be suffering in silence alone.  We are afraid that this disorder is going to grow larger and think how rewarding it would be to help all of those people.  Please contact us as soon as possible if you are able to reach out and give a helping hand for humanity.  You can reach us at manager@anxietypanic.com.

Thanks in advance,

Richard and Amy

I wish I could help, Amy -- it sounds like a great idea -- however, sadly, I am unilingual (with a small smattering of bad highschool French).

Good luck with this project!

Hi Pretzel,

Thank you so much for your offer.  That would be amazing if you could help.  It is going to be a lot of work but it will be so rewarding to help so many people.  You will get full credit on the site for the translation.  We are still in Sweden right now but will be back to the states in June.  That is most likely when we will start working on the translations.  I will be in touch with you.

Thanks so much,
Amy and Richard

I am fluent in German and English and would volunteer to translate if German is one of the languages you might need.

I don't know if you have already discovered this yet, but the web site is called "babblefish" and it provides word for word translation in just about every language, and I believe it is free.  We use it to help our students with the CA high school exit exam if they are second language learners.  Hope this helps!

Thanks for the wonderful ideas, but we were going to actually buy domain names for the specific countries and have the entire site in their language.  I think it would be more helpful to them to be able to find it in google with their own domain language.  At least that is the plan right now.

Thanks so much,
Amy

I have a friend who speaks Persian and I could ask him if he could help out. I know Persian isn't widely spoken, but I figure anyone should have a chance to overcome anxiety and panic. Hope this helps!

There are probably 75 million people who speak Persian (Farsi) in Iran and Afghanistan.  That's a pretty big audience! :D

Amy, are you still going ahead with this idea?

Hi!  I'm new here, but I think I can help!  I am certified (by Berlitz, Inc.) to translate French and Spanish.  I am also fluent in Portuguese, and I can also translate Russian and Ukrainian, though the latter too are slow for me.  My last job (which I recently had to quit) as a professional translator for a major online university.  Let me know if I can be of help.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for volunteering.  We will be starting this in the next couple of months.  We are back in Sweden with limited internet access, but I will keep in touch as much as I can.

Love and Hugs,
